Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by The Broke and the Bookish and The Artsy Reader Girl. When I was little, the picture books consisted mostly of Dr. Seuss, animal books, and some classics. Today, there are SO MANY diverse and inspiring children's books available, and I want to highlight a few that I wish I had been able to read.

This is such a diverse set of books, and I love it! I still want to read Julian is a Mermaid, just because I'm curious. Great picks!

I enjoyed A Day in the Life of Marlon Bundo, but like you I would have loved it even more as a kid.
