Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by The Broke and the Bookish and The Artsy Reader Girl.
You might be wondering where I've been. Like many people right now, I've been curled up in a ball of anxiety. I would open the blog, stare at it, think about posting, and then close the page. Repeat for a month. I'm gonna try to update semi-regularly, but schoolwork has been overwhelming and you never know when the pandemic's gonna get you down. That said! In the comments, let me know if you've been reading while stuck at home and if you've read anything good! If you're looking for something to pick up, here are a few books I've enjoyed!
1. The Chaos of Stars by Kiersten White
2. Abandon by Meg Cabot
3. Alienated by Melissa Landers
4. Emmy and Oliver by Robin Benway
5. Everything Leads to You by Nina LaCour
6. Grave Mercy by Robin LaFevers
7. A Little Something Different by Sandy Hall
8. The Only Thing to Fear by Caroline Tung Richmond
9. The Pledge by Kimberly Derting
10. Rites of Passage by Joy N. Hensley

Oh no. I'm sorry to hear you've been having a tough time. Schoolwork can be plenty overwhelming on its own without a whole pandemic on top. Here's hoping the sweet embrace of TTT helps.
ReplyDeleteFor what it's worth, props to your choices. Emmy & Oliver is one of the sweetest romances I've ever read, and A Little Something Different truly lives up to its name. I still don't think I've ever seen a book with quite that kind of narrative structure...
Meg Cabot has been a popular author to recommend this week in general!
ReplyDeleteMy TTT .
Omg, I adore Emmy and Oliver, and actually got to meet Robin Benway last year!

I've heard good things about Emmy and Oliver.

I don't talk about Emmy & Oliver enough, but I think that's because I'm always talking about Far From the Tree.
