Clear Your TBR Pile Challenge!
The wonderful Jessica @ Fly to Fiction and Klaudia @ The Observant Girl Book Reviews are co-hosting this event, and I couldn't help but want to join in.
The event starts on July 28 (that's tomorrow!) and goes through August 11. The goal is to read as many books from your TBR (To Be Read) pile, as possible. For more information, check out this post with all the details!
My goals for the challenge will probably be slightly lower than other peoples, because I'm not going to be able to read for three or four of the days. Why? you ask. That is a wonderful question! I am going to be at LeakyCon in Orlando, Florida! This will be my first conference (that's not focused on sea turtles anyways) and I am super excited. I will probably post a wrap up post with all the shenanigans that went down after the fact.
Anyways, back to the challenge. My goal will be to read seven books in those fourteen days. There's a fifty-fifty chance that I'll get more or less than that number. Here are the books I am hoping to read over the course of the two weeks:
Shiver by Maggie Steifvater
Speak by Laurie Halse Anderson
Paper Towns by John Green
Valiant by Holly Black
Opposition by Jennifer L. Armentrout (I know it's kinda cheating, since it's a new release, but GO WITH ME!)
The Who Never Was by Skylar Dorset
Ironside by Holly Black
Luckily, during those days I'll be at the conference, I'll also have two ten-hour drives, which will provide a lot of reading time. Or at least a lot of time staring out the window thinking about reading. Bloggers, readers, etc, join me in this excited and daunting challenge!
