"Waiting On" Wednesday is a weekly event, hosted at Breaking the Spines, that spotlights upcoming releases that we're eagerly anticipating.

I looked at my calendar to see what book I wanted to spotlight this week, and saw Ruin and Rising by Leigh Bardugo only a few weeks away and immediately knew that it was my only choice! I'm super excited for this book and have it on preorder from one of my three local indies, Flyleaf Bookstore! Plus, if enough people buy Ruin and Rising from Flyleaf, Leigh might come to the store! I really love this series and can't wait to see what happens to all the characters. Long live The Darkling!

Synopsis:
